Description: The purpose of this event is to study the actor personality of Oscar winner Denzel Washington. The event is geared toward students who major in Mass Media Arts and Theater. However, all are welcome to participating in this dialogue. Denzel Washington being a staple for the acting standard in Hollywood this event will highlight some of his most notarized work with explanation as to why he is labeled “superb”. A panel of local actors in Atlanta will participate in the discussion along with AUC students to answer any questions they have about method acting. There will be scenes shown via projector, and questions asked to spark the interest of the audience to dive deeper into why Denzel Washington is who he is. “Dissecting” is simply word play used to describe how we plan to open up the acting anatomy of Denzel Washington to study his methods and craft.
